I was asked to create a deck of playing cards containing face card characters for each of the King, Queen, Jack, and Joker cards along with the back of the card, the suits and the packaging. I created a
design for the deck to stand out
and be cohesive. 

I used the images of the Disney villains and their “alter egos” for the reflections. For example, Maleficent and the dragon she becomes, the Evil Queen from Snow White and the old woman she becomes, as well as Jafar and the snake he becomes after his wish is granted by the Genie. For the Joker, I had a different idea and did the two villains from the movie Emperor’s New Groove because the Joker card is usually a different
kind of card.
